Product Description In The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle taught us that living in the "now" is the path we must take to happiness and enlightenment. In his new book, Michael Brown teaches us how to do this, and lays out a sensible step-by-step plan that will enable us to heal the ghosts from our past so we can lead liberated lives--now! Reading this book will cleanse your perceptions and help you exorcise your deepest subconscious wounds. Brown shows us how to step beyond our personal physical, mental, and emotional afflictions and addictions, and empowers us to grow into a new wholeness. The lucid flow of this text magnetically and gently draws us into a transformational experience that automatically grounds us into the vibrant radiance of present moment awareness--where we find our liberation, our healing, and our innate wisdom. Until 1989, South African-born Michael Brown was living what he called "a blissfully unconscious life" as a music journalist. He then developed an acutely painful neurological condition for which conventional medicine had neither cure nor relief. This caused him to set out on what became a nine year odyssey of self-healing which took him into--then beyond--many alternative healing modalities. The result is a revolutionary new healing procedure: The Presence Process.

the real truth November 22, 2008 This is the best thing that ever happened to me ,everyone should be required to read this enlightening book ,it is the Holly grail and the truth !
Finally, a practical approach November 11, 2008 The Presence Process lives up to its promise. It is a practical, down to earth approach to shifting from reacting to responding to life. I have spent my entire life looking for something like this. It gives all the basic information on what it is based on and then has a step by step process that you can do. It isn't for everyone, but if you are ready for it, this will change your life.
Buy this book! October 30, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm reluctant to go into much detail about the book, because it offers so much and each reader will respond differently. I did, though, buy 10 copies to give to family and friends. It is the most unideological approach to personal development that I've EVER come across. You will, though, experience resistance to his approach; but this is exactly what you should experience. It is not about changing your life, or anyone else's life, but about changing your life-experience. One foundation of his approach involves daily meditations, and if nothing else, he has helped me begin a meditation routine that I will carry with me my whole life. I have never felt so much gratitude for a book. Thank you, Mr. Brown.
Lifesaver October 5, 2008 This book was a gift from my uncle and I'll be forver grateful to the writer and my uncle. This book has saved my life!! I was battling with bulimia and depression. I began the process 8 weeks ago and I've never been better. No therapy had done what this process has for me. I've been free for 8 weeks, I've reached my healthy weight, I found my issues and I'm working to clean my soul and my life forever. I highly recomend this book to everyone whether you have a problem or not. Thank You Michael Brown and David!
life changing September 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Presence Process is a life changing inner work where one directly meets the emotional suffering that drives our behavior in life. As the veils of fear, anger and grief are parted, the fullness of our essential love appears: awake, alive, free and ever present. This is not a casual journey but one which requires commitment and devotion. Anyone who is interested in the asking of questions, the opening of the heart, the power that lies in the 'pain body' and present moment awareness will enjoy meeting Michael Brown and his unique approach to awakening.
