A Good Series of Guided Meditations March 28, 2008
The book is a series of guided meditations and teachings related to working with Angels. It seems based on a tapes series HEALING WITH LIGHT (Volume One) which was in turn based on a Course. This means the information has been tested with actual people and found to work. For those who like the book, it may be worthwhile to get the cassettes (maybe even some CDs if the author has gotten them to this level) and be able to be guided in real time by the author. The cassettes have embedded alpha and theta induction sounds which the book, of course, cannot do and background music. Even without the cassettes, however, the book will still work and connect the reader with sources of inner healing in Angel form. If someone has not felt the power of this kind of guided meditation, it may be a very worthwhile experience to get this book and try it.

Healing Yourself With Light was given to me by a customer when I owned an Angel Store. About 18 months after opening the Angel Emporium, my son took his life. The book by LaUna Huffines was instrumental in my recovery from the painful event. I must give this a 5 Star rating, if for no other reaon, than it was a tool in supporting me towards the healing. I do admit, I read everything metaphysical that came out from 1990 to the current date. This book is still with me, and shows the wear from use. As much as I treat my books with delicate care, this one still shows its true value by the wrinkles! Sort of like me :-)

This is an absolute must read if you want a practical how-to book and be healed of physical illness. This author writes exceptionally well and the exercises in the book are easy to do. I can't say enough good things about this book. After throwing money out the window on a best selling author's book on angels, I read the reviews on this book and ord'd it right away. This book can heal emotional, spiritual, physical and mental ailments. I have already experienced miracles with my overwhelming health problems and I'm only on Part 3 of the book (Pg. 107.) If you are suffering with a debilitating illness and are sick and tired of being sick, this book restores hope and results for me were immediate. When I began reading the book yesterday, I had a dental infection, an earache and a painful stomachache on top of everything else that's wrong with me. Today, less than 24 hrs. after starting the book, I woke up, those 3 ailments were gone. I don't have to go to the dentist now. My mind felt great...no drug hangovers like I often have if I take my medicine (I often skip dosages because of the side effects,) and I feel much less chronic pain today than usual. I didn't think the book could get any more interesting than what I've read so far but I just can't wait to get into the 3rd section of the book. It's fascinating, enlightening, empowering, uplifting and I love the exercises in this book and how the author explains everything so beautifully!!!!! If you are open to angelic healing, this is a must have. I even saw the angels working on my body during some of the meditative exercises!!!!!!!! They were working feverishly on the stomach area "vacuuming," and circling the neck and head area. They did not have wings and were about 1" in size. They were a celestial rose/flesh color and resembled human embryos but were very small in size.

Highly recommend this book: the angels do help us! One day about halfway through the book I decided to practice seeing and feeling the Golden Triangle (as described in the book). During one practice, when my sole aim was to just experience the Triangle more clearly, I suddenly saw in my mind's eye an angel about three inches high and brilliant white, made of light. It was working on my spine at the base of my neck and was pulling fibers of shining white light down my spine and out from the centers of my spine between each vertebrae, straightening these fibers of light and untangling them. As the angel worked its way down to a place where it has felt for years as if two vertebrae were always grinding together and where I've experienced considerable discomfort, it seemed as if the angel was pushing on the disk between the bones and then straightening more of the fibers of light. It then worked its way down my spine the rest of the way, and then was gone. I was stunned because I hadn't even been thinking about my spine while I was practicing, but even better, I've had no pain or discomfort since that day. It's simply gone!

I have read all kinds of angel books, but this one stands out as one that gently nudged me into my own center. The words are soothing and the suggesttions practical. I recommend 'Healing Yourself With Light' for anyone that has ever wanted to find a way to transformation. I can really feel the love and light flowing from every page. It is like the angels are there with you when you read it. Get it; you won't be disappointed!
